Six Word Saturday= Where Did I Go Wrong?!

Expecting the Fashion Police ANY moment!

(To play along with Cate, visit www.showmyface.com and sum your week up with six words only.)

Okay,

Yesterday, Will and I had to drive to Cowtown again to drop off my kids for Chris and also for another eye-exam. First note: the eyes? Yep- perfect 20/20 vision and still improving, AND soon I may even be able to go outside without plastering my "granny" sunglasses to my face.

We went shopping at a new mall in Balzac. (ha ha. Yes, I'm practically a 12-year old boy... whatever, it still makes Will and I laugh. Yes, that's an actual place north of Calgary, for all you who don't believe me. And yes, *in OUR home* it IS pronounced Ball Sack). lol
ANYWHOODLE, I broke down and bought them.
The shoes.
The oh-my-freek-those-are-so-darned-ugly shoes. The DO-NOT-TRY-ON shoes. The once-you-try-on-you-want-a-pair shoes.

Yep.
I did.

AND I LOVED IT. I am wearing them today and although mine are super cute white and silver shoes, I am darn proud to have such odd-looking shoes on my stellar bod. ;)

So, in short, now my shoes match my granny glasses! :)

Are these the shoes that make you walk better and your butt looks amazing in? Plus it helps posture? SWEET!
As for the glasses, I have my own pair too. They look ridiculous on anyone.

yes, Kiki... those are them! I haven't noticed the better posture, but I tell ya, I put those things on and Will couldn't stop grabbing my butt! :)
haha.
although, once I took the shoes off, he STILL grabbed the cheeks, so, really...prob not the shoes. lol

Debbi,
You make me laugh!! I love your wit and just the way you present things:) I don't want to rain on your parade, especially since it gave me such a chuckle, but I taught in Balsac and spent much time there growing up as I have close family friends out there and it is pronounced Ball-Zack. Not as funny, I know, but the truth sadly. Although I am interested to see what you could make of that....:)

HAHAHA! I giggled shamelessy too!
and with the granny glasses and orthopaedic shoes, go ahead -- go braless in public. I dare ya! ;)

Before I saw the shoes and only read your description of them, I thought FOR SURE you were referring to Crocs.

...I was sorely mistaken.

Oh, I know, Candy. But who really wants to SAY Ball-Zack when Ball-sack is that much more fun!? ;) But thanks, I'm glad someone else thinks I'm funny other than my 4-year old! ;)

Em-
I WOULD NEVER!! Don't you knooooow me? Me? BRALESS? @@ Not ever likely. Besides, with my new shoes a rockin'...my boobs won't stop swaying for an hour after I sit down! lol

Oh, Marci...hahahahaha. Don't you remember? I already HAVE a pair of crocs. *shudder* These shoes are actually fairly cute. You'll see soon. And then you'll try them on. And want some! :D

We drove out to Balzac yesterday actually. I thought of you when we did. ; D Only I'm a little confused as to where anyone got Balsac with an "s" from. IT actually is pronounced Bal ZAC. All the highway signs have a "Z" on them. There is no "S". Wonder if the name has always been with a "Z" or if they have recently changed it due to comments from people like yours. LOL! Now that would be funny.

I know, I know, Lynn. Still, Ball SACK is just funnier and WAY better for blog fodder than BalZACK. :)

Lynn,

You hit the nail on the head! I think I remember when they actually did it too:) It was always pronounced Balzac but not spelled. I don't blame them for changing it, I mean, would you want people thinking you lived in Ball-sack?!!
